DHS OIG, Aug. 8, 2024 "In January 2024, we conducted onsite, unannounced inspections at four U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facilities in the Del Rio area, specifically three U.S. Border Patrol (Border Patrol) facilities and one Office of Field Operations (OFO) port of entry (POE). At the time of our onsite inspection, Border Patrol held 354 detainees in custody in the Eagle Pass Soft-Sided Processing Facility, Eagle Pass South station, and Del Rio station.
